Vincent Hammond Uses Guitar Pro acoustic / usa
Vincent Hammond was born August 27, 1965. In his youth, he was exposed almost solely to country and bluegrass music, and began playing guitar at age six. It was not until his teens that he began to focus on pop and rock; later, he moved to classical and New Age music.
Currently, Vincent gives guitar lessons, guitar workshops and performs his original compositions and the music of J. S. Bach throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C., at restaurants, lounges, country clubs, resorts, theaters, private parties, universities, art galleries, museums, bookstores, and weddings. He also performs for such community and charitable organizations as assisted living facilities, hospitals, and local cultural arts groups. When he has free time, Vincent continues his studies in electrical science and takes long drives in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where he finds inspiration for his music.
Vincent has recently released the second edition of the matching music book to his first album "Where the Mountains Touch the Sky" using Guitar Pro. He has also created a guitar workshop booklet to go with the guitar clinics he does as a guitar teacher. Furthermore, he is working on an all Bach album and book for his next CD release next year.
Why do I like Guitar Pro?
I had tried other music-writing software, but each one fell short in many areas. Then one of my students introduced me to Guitar Pro – and it exceeded my greatest expectations, and is easy to learn. I use Guitar Pro exclusively for both teaching and publishing my music books.
